Automatic optimal multi-energy management of smart homes

Abstract Residential and commercial buildings are responsible for approximately 35% of carbon emissions in industrialized countries. Making more efficient sustainable is, therefore, a fundamental step toward low-carbon energy society. A key to achieving sustainability is by leveraging on storage systems smart technologies switch between carriers order optimize environmental impact. However, the research management has mostly focused its economic aspect, overlooking dimension. Additionally, concept system flexibility been proposed as ability shift demand over time or, at most, curtail it, aiming reducing system’s operating costs. We propose multi-energy multi-objective scheduling model optimally manage supply, demand, interchange multiple carriers, based dynamic price emission signals.
